Brazilian beef consumption is declining due to a 50% price jump reported in 2020. Unfortunately, there is no sign of relief for consumers as exports are expected to remain strong and production stagnant, said the vice president of the Santa Catarina Federation of Agriculture and Livestock, Enori Barbieri.
Statistics released by the government show that meat prices rose 17.97% last year.
